DESCRIPTION

Owner Jill Anderson's vision of a Western-influenced boutique is cute rather than kitschy. Coming from five generations of Nebraskans and Coloradoans, she's always had an affinity for country furniture and antiques and has collected them for years. The fitting rooms are made from salvaged doors in their naturally distressed and paint-scraped state. A cupboard, circa 1900, holds cactus flower-scented candles, T-shirts and wide leather belts. Anderson's own handcrafted sterling silver and gold jewelry dangle from an old shoemaker's last.

A keen collector of denim, Anderson has stocked her shop with plenty of it. She carries lines such as Fidelity, Farmer, Pine IV and Raven. And they're not just for skinny girls -- some lines extend up to 31/32 (size 12) which are hard to find in the world of washboard-flat-tummy and perfect-booty blue jeans. Prices range from $160 to $220 for brands such as Raven, Pine IV and Farmer. Top them with soft knit T-shirts by Stacie in pretty colors or C&C wispy thin layering tanks and T's that appeal to the sexy cowgirl within.
