DESCRIPTION
With its mystical, mellow music, white walls and floors, dim lighting and a location right across the street from Pioneer Square's Waterfall Park, Bryan Ohno's contemplative, spiritual ambience serves as a perfect setting for its passion - clean, abstract and serious Pacific Rim and Northwest sculpture.
Abstract oils, surreal acrylics and works in the traditions of Pop Art, Op Art and the Northwest Mystics are mainstays, as are serene bronze, glass, steel and wood sculptures, Japanese nature-inspired prints, ceramics and calligraphic paintings. American constructivist/abstract painter Mary Henry is just one of the internationally known artists represented by the gallery, which changes solo and groups shows every two months. More works are available - to view by appointment - in the gallery's basement.
