DESCRIPTION

"Seattle's second-best cocktail lounge" has a lot to offer: a prime location on the corner of First and Denny; a mature but nonetheless energetic vibe; a solid selection of pub chow, from flatiron steaks to Dungeness crab mac 'n' cheese; and best of all, a deep specialty drink menu that boasts 27 distinct martini variations (which aren't technically martinis but cocktails -- but still, that's a lot of tasty sauce). The bar's top shelf is crowded, with a selection of premium rums, vodkas and scotches that approaches the divine.

Quality spirits without being pretentious5

The quality and size of drinks in this bar always surprise me. The Bartenders are very friendly, engaging without being overtly annoying. The jazz playing in the background, ample selection of spirits. I can't say enough good things about this bar that I keep coming back to. It seems like a bar you'd see in San Francisco, NY. They've made their mark with original cocktails without losing the "Classic" ambience. Recommend to visit there Sun-Thurs. Weekends are busy and plenty of good people watching.
