A co-worker "raved" about the great service at Earth & Ocean, but I had a different experience (25/$25). We laughed when the hostess inadvertently sat our group at two separate tables (arrived 3 minutes apart). Once we found each other, it took the waitress several minutes to acknowledge us and offer water. Then she disappeared for 20 minutes without taking our drink order. She noticed one of us consulting the manager, so she rushed to our table. The manager's snotty comment was "She's right here - waiting to take your order." He offered no apology for the wait, nor did he check in with us later to ensure that we were taken care of. Kudos to the bread/water server - he was the only redeeming quality to the wait staff. They shouldn't be part of "Dine Around Seattle" if they can't treat all customers with the same respect.

Went to Earth and Ocean to try their 25 for $25 menu and it was a HUGE disappointment. Although their lounge was abuzz with people, the restaurant was more than half empty. This should have been the first red flag. Once we were seated and served our meal I could not believe my eyes. Not only were the portions TINY, but most of the food was pre-prepared and the monkfish was raw and not definitely NOT fresh. Most of the dishes were lukewarm at best and bread was not served until halfway through the meal. Also had the wine pairing and was poured 1/4 of a very small glass. Definitely a huge RIP-OFF and truly horrific quality. I would not waste my time or money in trying this restaurant now or any other time. I wouldn't even eat here if it was free - the kitchen needs a reality check!

Since my husband and I had excellent service, it is hard to believe the previous reviews. Our water glasses and bread plates were never empty. I had the roasted beet salad which was very flavorful, followed by the braised short rib entree. The meat was tender and falling off the bone and the butternut squash was very light and fluffy, not like any squash I have ever had before. My husband had the charcuterie plate, followed by the quinoa cake which he found quite different, but very good. The pumpkin torte and chocolate banana mousse were wonderful. As for parking, there were many spaces available for free after 6:00 on the surrounding streets.
