DESCRIPTION

Formerly a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer screening room and a speakeasy, the Rendezvous has had a long and storied existence. However, it's nowhere near retirement. This 80-year-old Belltown mainstay remains a popular watering hole, and its JewelBox Theater regularly hosts film screenings, burlesque shows, live music and much more. The bar area has been restored, but still feels old and decaying — and we mean that in a nice way. A full menu of bar munchies is available, and you'll need it, because the bartenders at the Rendezvous do one heck of a strong pour.
