DESCRIPTION

Indeed, the Seattle Restaurant Store, with its 20,000 square feet of new and used equipment, is a playground for the pros. But don't let the high ceilings and industrial vibe scare you. You'll find inspiration in the sheer volume of dishes, pots, table settings and linens, and start fantasizing about opening your very own bistro. Guaranteed.

Pricing depends on what the owners have purchased in bulk, and the inventory changes all the time. A mother lode of aprons, for example, might yield the best prices you can find anywhere, but if you're in the market for a couple ramekins, you'll likely be able to find them cheaper elsewhere. Looking to outfit your kitchen with a pre-owned worktable, gently used bakery mixer or a set of new professional knives? This is the place.

TIP: The store is best known for its dizzying volume of gadgets — there are 18 kinds of tongs, five sizes of salad spinners and a small universe of choppers.

Very poor customer service. I bought an equipment in the box, briefly looked at it in the store was explained by a manager its completely new but when I came home opened it, and found, it was used and had dry pieces of meat attached and oily bottom of the box. Took it to to the store the same day to get my money back. Now the wonderful jokes began by the customer service and the manager that they can only give me a store credit and not money back. They smiled and politely explained it says in a receipt if you buy something you can only get a store credit no matter what, even if you buy a faulty product. What a wonderful customer service. I am writing this to warn any future customers. Every item is overpriced. I don't think its legal what they do.

I received terrible service at this store1

I will no longer shop at the Seattle Restaurant Store. When I returned a defective item within the alloted time in accordance with their policy, I was told they couldn't resell it and that I probably broke it myself! I couldn't believe it. In past experiences with them I have found them to be arrogant and lacking in good customer service skills. Plus, they overcharge for items that can be found less expensively elsewhere (e.g. Costco, Cash & Carry). They will never get my business again.
