Fun!

I have always had a great experience shopping here. The staff are friendly and very helpful, especially if you bring in the project that you are working on or have a specific question. They carry a wider selection of yarns than most discount stores, so don't be surprised to see some higher-dollar items mixed in with some of the more common yarns. They also have a lot of books for those of us just starting out. The other review is correct- they reuse bags here, but I'm not sure why that would be a negative thing- I don't need a fancy bag for my purchases, just good stuff in the bag!

Good yarn but expensive

I have shopped at this place and it is true about the refund deal. I have stop going there because it is to expensive and I now shop at Joanne's and they have a good selection of yarn and craft stuff and reasonable prices.

Not a place where you can find a considerate attitude

Good enough selection of yarns - overpriced though. Their discount card policies are manipulative. They promise to refund $15 on every $200 you have spent. Are you curious why they are so generous? The answer is, they simply do not have to refund. Most customers do not buy much yarns at a time and spend less than $200, so when the store guys reflect different purchases in your discount card they round down sums to much lesser amounts. As a result, you do not get the refund as promised. I do not mind their effort to promote sales, but they could find more considerate ways to keep their regulars. Oh, almost forgot: they save on bags, so do not be surprised to be given a used jammed QFC bag at this store if you buy anything from them.
