DESCRIPTION

It's high-volume beauty at first glance in this 1,100-square-foot space, with pop music and a roomful of chatty, urbane clients getting their hair and nails done. But enter the doors to the inner sanctuary, and you're greeted with only the sounds of a trickling fountain and low mood music for any number of spa treatments. There's enough room so that entire parties can enjoy aromatherapy massages, exfoliations, manicures and pedicures - and a designated bridal coordinator is on staff to help with scheduling and consulting. The "envelopment bed" allows you to float in a warm, soothing cocoon - just the thing for the jitters.

TIP: Brides (or anyone else) who have their makeup done can have their colors custom blended to wear once or to take home.

Reasons to go to GJ-- Brynn! A terrific massage therapist who uses the right pressure at all times. She gives an amazing, relaxing Swedish massage. Personal shower and steam room w/jets and rainforest showerhead afterward. Ahhhh! Reasons to pass-- Crowded, co-ed waiting room with loud bass filtering in from the adjacent hair salon. Luke-warm foot soak and a public foot massage in front of everyone else waiting for their massage. Not relaxing! Overall I still recommend GJ and will return. However, if you crave a quiet sanctuary from start to finish plan to go on a weekday or early on the weekend. Sarah Kontopoulos
