An adjunct of Bellevue sporting goods store Sturtevant's, Boarderline isn't the biggest snowboard shop around these parts (Snowboard Connection holds that title), but it comes pretty close, both in size and in service.

Its inventory of boards is huge and ever-changing, and the staff's knowledge of that stock verges on the encyclopedic. If you ask a question about, say, a certain brand of split board, you'll get an answer that's backed up by hours of field testing.

Boarderline also carries a solid assortment of goggles, bindings, helmets, gloves, backpacks and much more, and Sturtevant's racks of winter wear are just next door. It's worth a visit if you live on that side of Lake Washington, and even if you don't.
