DESCRIPTION

Independently owned and founded in 1948, this compact -- but well-stocked -- hardware store carries all manner of plumbing, gardening, electrical, painting, and houseware tools, gadgets and goods. It's what a neighborhood hardware store should be: The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and they'll greet your pooch with a pat and a dog biscuit.
