Would you care to pay $80 for a sales pitch?2
Posted by _jasmine_ on 04/22/2007
Basically I paid $80 for the priviledge of receiving a sales pitch for the products they sold. I was prepared to make an appointment for Thermage or Scuptura or something at their recommendation, but instead got a generic sales pitch with instruction on how to cleanse my face. I never even got to meet the doctor. I think maybe I got pegged as someone too cost conscience to be worthy of their more high-end services. I did buy the recommended Clarisonic electronic cleansing brush and the glycolic cleanser. Did not do much for me, but it did help to clear up my teenager's face. I noticed that the doctor was briefly featured in the Clarisonic sales dvd that came in the box. I would not be surprised if she owns stock in the company.
