DESCRIPTION
This home furnishings shopping spot is younger and more contemporary than its older sister just across the block. It's filled with great gifts and items to perk up any decor including lighting, framed art, gorgeous vases, ceramic serving pieces, pillows, coffee and side tables and compact, modern accent chairs.
New additions to the mix include the swirly, glass-blown votive holders by glass artist Merrilee Moore (also available at the Foster/White gallery). The chunky, nest-shaped candle holders ($49) are versatile enough to use for dips, flowers, nuts and candy and come in pretty spring-like yellow, aqua and pink (colors change at the artist's whim). Moore's vases feature the same signature swirls and start at $150. Add a little elegance to your home bar with Italian-etched crystal glassware by Egizia. Tall, cylinder-shaped shot glasses come in four different etched patterns, each $25, and double old-fashioned glasses are $45 each.
You'll also find sleek Vera Wang home accessories like the polished stainless steel picture frames; Agraria home fragrance in scents such as fig, pear and pomegranate ($95); and Kevin O'Brien silk velvet pillows (he makes the fabric himself, thus the hefty $200 per pillow and above price tag). Need to get nasty odors and bacteria outta the house? Next Decor carries French-made Lamp Berger air purifiers that use fragrance and a catalytic burner to do the job. The store also offers a variety of decorating services.
