DESCRIPTION
If you can't control yourself around pretty shoes, back away. Take a deep breath. Got yourself together? Okay, come on into Maggie's. The selection here is based on quality, not quantity. It's a good thing, too, because if there were a huge selection you'd just spend all day ogling and drooling and figuring out how to take out a third mortgage to pay for it all. There are choices for your every mood: sleek evening mules and sexy ankle boots; a teensy-heeled flat with pointy toes that you want to keep away from young children; even comfy foot-forming sandals that will still go with your Prada ensemble.
You won't recognize any designer labels here - all the shoes come from Italy with Maggie's own moniker.
Tip: Maggie's also has a couple small racks of swanky duds. Check back often for markdowns - a line of pastel lambskin jackets recently was slashed to $350.

Maggie's Shoes, Exceeding Expections
Posted by nwsource on 07/20/2007
Maggie's Shoes offers a unique opportunity to own fabulous, gorgeous Italian shoes. I have shoes I bought there years ago and I still get compliments when I wear them. Timeless beauty, timeless elegance, timeless value. These shoes are classic yet fashionable and, also very important to me, comfortable. The Italians get it right and so does Maggie.

Maggie's Shoes - One Reason I come to Seattle!
Posted by suesan on 06/21/2007
I only come to Seattle every five years or so, but when I do, the family knows we have to head to Maggie's shoes! It's true, I've never paid so much for shoes in my life, yet they end up being my favorites for years because they are not only beautiful and unusual, but they're beautifully made and comfortable. So, yesterday, we blew in from Port Townsend and made a quick stop on the way to the airport - I only had a half hour but bought three pairs of shoes. YIKES! Only could a person do such a thing with the fabulous service in this store which has remained consistent through the years. Thank you, Maggie!

Horrendous Customer Service
Posted by seatownshopgirl on 02/15/2007
I have been a loyal customer at Maggie's for some time now. I believe it came under new ownership a few years ago. I bought a pair of new boots that were very expensive. Less than one month after I had bought them a piece of major detailing just FELL OFF one of the boots (it looks like it had just been rubber cemented on; certainly not something you would expect from very expensive leather boots.) I have spent lots of money at this store and thought for sure they would either be able to repair the boot for me or offer a refund. They did neither. They were rude and blamed it on "wear and tear." (I wore the boots perhaps twice). Do not go there. You will be disappointed. They even "dared" me to go to the Better Business Bureau. Unbelievable.
