DESCRIPTION

Sometimes it's not quantity but quality that counts. Easily the most eclectic and definitely the coolest record shop in Seattle, Wall of Sound carries a small but wide array of music, from Ethiopian groove to hillbilly folk, from deep blues to minimalist electronic music. The store's on its way to having the kind of "cool-making" power that New York's Other Music, Chicago's Dusty Groove and San Francisco's Aquarius Records have.

This small boutique is ideal for folks who want to purchase the latest Coil CD, a Brigitte Bardot best-of, reggaeton vinyl, and "The Decline of Western Civilization" on DVD... all at the same store - while simultaneously supporting small, local business. Props to the knowledgeable staff, too.
