DESCRIPTION
The work here is long, low and clean, with lots of light beech and oak and frosted-glass accents. Designers from all over the world contribute their talents to the Ligne Roset line, a French Company that has become the last word in homey-hip since M. Antoine Roset began making umbrellas and bent-wood walking sticks in 1860.
Sofa beds here put futons and regular pull-outs to shame with their attention to aesthetics. You want inventive? Try a lamp that looks like a hand towel draped over a simple silver rod, or perhaps a sofa with an attached glass shelf around the back and arms. Even a square silver incense burner's function dovetails beautifully with form. And the Easy Calin recliner, a celebration of simplicity, is not your father's chair. Unless, of course, he is a modernist with a modern-European flair.
Tip: There are floor sample sales here twice a year; ask to be on the mailing list.
