DESCRIPTION
It's hip, it's laid back, and just the place to come to reinvent yourself or just spruce up the old you. In addition to offering hair, nail, facial, massage and waxing services, Salon Nouveau can outfit you with a temporary tattoo, or a spray-on tan that lasts three to 10 days. It's also the kind of place where brides can bring their friends and family to crowd around and coo, no problem, as they're getting ready with hair and makeup.
Owner Teresa Chiu says that because her staff is young and hip, they're eager to try new things, so go ahead and bring in that picture of Britney/J. Lo/Beyonce and let them at it.

I LOVE IT!

I was referred to Salon Nouveau by a colleague. Initially, I was a little hesitant due to the fact that I've never been to a salon in Seattle before. I have fine, naturally curly hair, and sometimes stylists might not know what to do with it. I found that not only did I LOVE my new hair cut, but Teresa did an awesome job cutting and styling it! My husband was very pleased with it as well. I didn't mind the extra commute. Plus, the price is very comparable to other upscale salons.

I am so in love with my hair. I had been looking for a new stylist for quite some time. A friend of mine had recommended the salon to me and it took me a while to get the courage up to actually make the change. I am so glad that I did. I just wish I had found Teresa sooner. I was able to manage my own hair at home with all the tips and suggestions that she gave me. To my surprise I found out that Teresa was the owner of the beautiful salon. It is very upscale without the attitude, just like their web site mentioned, and the prices are reasonable. I can honestly say that I dupicated the look at home very well thanks to her. Forever grateful!

The owner of this salon is supposed to be skilled in cutting and styling curly hair. Instead, she is over-confident and clearly unskilled in cutting curly hair in this decade. If you want to be belittled, told you don't know what is best for your hair, and are looking for an awful haircut that is exactly the opposite of what you asked for. Salon Nouveau is your place. Otherwise, steer clear.
