Simple elegance is the best way to describe Spa Scotta. There aren't a bunch of chatty bridesmaids running all over the place; it's low-key with little to distract you from your facial, massage, wax or manicure.

Owner Jessica Campbell's strives to make clients feel a little more pampered. A recent move across the street from the former University Village location added 1,200 square feet to the spa, which features a "quiet room" and expanded boutique space. Plush, comfy chairs instead of benches are used for pedicures.

Treatments include the Clock Stopper, a 60-minute anti-aging facial ($110), which focuses on pesky lines and wrinkles, and Deep Thermal Therapy, a 60-minute detoxifying massage along your pressure points using clay, ginger and white tea (also $110).

While you're there, you might as well shop. You'll find sundresses and flip flops, hobo handbags and wallets, Cosabella lingerie, BedHead PJ's, Susan Posnik mineral makeup, Girlactik Beauty makeup, candles, jewelry and an array of skincare products.
