DESCRIPTION
They work with customers to manifest whatever's important one couple even had a jellyfish carved in relief and then refine the patterns and design with the help of a computer, which is hooked up to a milling machine. If you can dream it, chances are, they can make it.
"We're constantly pushing the envelope about what's possible," Hansen says. You'd think all this would be way over the top, but it's not: 18k rings without stones go for $800 to $1,000; platinum for $1,700 to $2,000. TIP: If you have an old family stone that needs a new home, Hansen and Winters are perfectly happy to design a piece around that, too.

We just had our rings made by Cindi at Goldmine and are VERY happy with our decision to have her design them. She was able to interpret my description into a beautiful and unique ring that is everything I was thinking of (but probably couldn't describe clearly!) and the ring she made for my fiancee matches it while still being individualized for what looks good on him. Their website is hard to find (it's goldminejewelry.net), but they're not - right next to Pike Place Market. Cindi was great to work with and my fiancee has been telling everyone about the casting (which was really cool) - I highly recommend them if you want a more unique ring than you can find "off the rack".
