DESCRIPTION
In Next to Nature, West Seattle boasts one of the best and biggest pet boutiques in the Puget Sound. Inside its wood-framed screen doors, you'll find practically every brand of natural pet food on the market (including feed for your bird, rabbit, hamster or gerbil), pet vitamins, natural flea prevention products, dozens of toys and leashes, pet-related gift items and a friendly, laid-back staff that knows a thing or two about the care and keeping of healthy and happy animals. It is also one of very few local pet boutiques to offer cats and kittens for adoption, in association with the non-profit animal rescue group, The Friends of the Animals Foundation.

I honestly can say that this store just makes me happy to walk inside. It is clean, the employees are well educated and I have yet to have an unpleasant experience there. The prices are to be the average, and who wouldn't want a sale/sale/sale on the really good things, not the left over items... Hint Hint. Overall, a great store.

My mini dachshund (Bubba) has a very sensitive stomach among many other medical issues, I am very thankful that I have a place I can go and know that I am getting the right product for my best friend. Next-to-Nature only carries the best of the best in natural dog food and I think that they actually research what they are selling. The staff is very friendly as well&

A One of A Kind Pet Find!

I routinely come over from Bremerton to West Seattle just to shop here. Friendly, knowledgable staff, great selection of high quality pet foods, and a wide variety of organic and natural options for all kinds of pets! The store is easy to find and easy to get around in. While the selection of foods and pet items may be overwhelming at first, a few quick questions to the staff and you'll be on your way to a happier, and more importantly, healthier pet. Some items are a bit expensive, but the high quality products and great service make up for any extra cost, and you are supporting a local store! I highly recommend stopping in.
