The Moore is 100 years old, yet it looks and feels fresh as a daisy. It's a wonderful venue for rock shows, more intimate than the Paramount and located on a block that exudes out-of-the-way, hidden-treasure charm (as opposed to the Paramount's glamorous downtown vibe). Yet the old girl seats 1,419 -- nothing to sneeze at -- and attracts big names in pop, rock and other genres, including Feist, Stephen Lynch and Ben Folds.
