DESCRIPTION

Expect quality ingredients, careful cooking and friendly service at this clean-lined, cheerful corner cafe. It's a diner gone upscale but not too far. Eat breakfast for lunch or vice versa: The whole menu, from bacon and eggs to chicken pot pie, is available until 3 p.m. Try an elegantly rolled omelet, corned beef and coleslaw on rye, jalapeño-spiked macaroni and cheese or the pancakes of the day. The French toast and sweet potato fries are must-haves. The burger is great, the coffee cake so good it always runs out.
