Absolutely disgusting2

I ordered lasagna and caesar to go. Typical PNW fare...Absolutely revolting, mushy, bland, void of flavor, void of oregano, salt, pepper, garlic, ANYTHING. It was raw tasteless noodles with unseasoned crushed tomatoes, thin layer of greyish meat matter -absolutely no harmony in this dish. A fat free lean cuisine lasagna dish has more spice than this crap. Pacific Northwest people must have bland taste buds. Bread was ok but its hard to screw that up. Ambience and wine must carry this place far.

Luscious Lombardi's did Seasoned Seattle right5

These guys went ALL OUT to market this menu. The waiter really took time to explain the promotion. I watched all the waiters consistently talk up SS, note the value as they sat guests and remark how popular this promotion has been for their restaurant. Guests talked about how they'd tried other SS restaurants during the promo. My steak was perfectly med rare as ordered, and hot, but veggies were lukewarm/cold (you know how some prep the plate, sides sit and entrée goes on last; they just did it too far ahead), and when the server asked how it was she immediately brought a side of hot veggies, and offered more bread too. This was our 1st Lombardi's visit. We learned about their wine programs. We'll be back!

Wouldn't go back3

My friend and I dined on 4/22/08. Our waiter was clearly less than enthused to be there - probably good that his shift ended before our meal did and a lovely young woman waited on us through dessert. We never received any table bread (?). Our food service was rushed - we hadn't finished our appies when the salad arrived, and weren't done with the salads when the entrees arrived. The food (crab capellini, penne siciliana) overall was good but not spectacular, except for the Tuscan garlic prawns which were awesome swimming in their white bean, tomato and white wine broth. Yum. The desserts looked and tasted store bought, and the pine-nut honey tart sounded much better on the menu than it looked in reality. Lombardi's is like an upscale Olive Garden. At their prices and with so many great restaurants in Seattle we will not be back.
