DESCRIPTION
The magic of flight is reality in this broad collection of early airplanes and nearly 40 other special aircraft in a multilevel steel and glass gallery. Look for tours of the Boeing-built Air Force One that carried presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon. Try your hands in a simulated full-scale air traffic control tower. All ages will want to see the new children's Flight Zone exhibit, where visitors strap themselves into harnesses to try simulated hang gliders, or send a gondola balloon soaring. Other cockpits invite visitors to run controls on a variety of other aircraft.
