DESCRIPTION
Chef Scott Carsberg will have you seeing stars: four of them. Devotees appreciate his understated perfection over pizzazz. Seared foie gras sprinkled with sea salt, the veal chop and seafood excel. Warm atmosphere, professional service.

FOOD POISONING

Oh my! Need I say more? It was the strangest food I've ever eaten. I'm still paying for it.

Maybe the tasting menus are ok but don't come here for the food on the a la carte menu. The medium rare duck was overcooked and dry, the sauces boring. The fish was so-so. The chef makes Yukon potatoes look like green beans or carrots BUT who cares, they were tasteless. We had planned on having a desert but had no confidence in the waiter or chef so went elsewhere for our last course. Also, want some olive oil instead of butter for your bread -- you're expected to pay $12. for a bottle of oiil and "you can bring home the extra." Honest, that's a first. This trip to Seattle we also ate at Crush and Union -- both of these restaurants were excellent and we'll recommend them to friends.
