DESCRIPTION

Top Pot's "hand-forged" doughnuts don't absolutely require two hands to eat, but on first sight you'll no doubt consider a two-fisted approach to their enormous Valley Girl Lemon, Raspberry Glazed and Bavarian Cream doughnuts. They're huge — nearly twice the size of a Krispy Kreme — and even one tiny nibble will tell you that these doughnuts, unlike their corporate counterparts, aren't mostly air. Two people could share one and be happy; one person could enjoy one and skip lunch.

But of course, size matters not, and Top Pot's doughnuts have it where it counts. These are chewy, delicious doughnuts, a little bit oily perhaps, but flavorful and richly satisfying. A cup of Zeitgeist coffee, roasted on-premises, seals the deal. It's not surprising that many locals rate Top Pot's doughnuts as Seattle's best.
