A great find!4

We went last Saturday to the Cafe Presse and had an excellent lunch for the reasonable price of $60 for two people. I tried the Rillettes for appetizer (a pork pate) and for entrees, I had the steak tartare. For a weird unexplained reason the raw egg was substituted for mustard and there were too many capers. My girlfriend tried the cheese omelette and it turned out very good. The bread, coming from the Grand Central bakery was good, but we had to ask several times for more as the waitress was bringing only small portions of it. For dessert we tried the clafoutis and it was very good. The place has a fairly impersonal decor but the laid back atmosphere and the competent albeit a bit slow service made it up for it. As a whole a pleasant experience.
