DESCRIPTION

Nestled between Stellar Pizza and Great Stuff Vintage Furnishings in Georgetown, new store Revival Home & Garden is an interior design enthusiast's dream come true. In the spacious storefront, the dove-gray walls are a perfect foil to the brightly colored furniture, home accessories, art, kids' gear and garden stuff contained within.

Owned by Georgetown resident Leah Ball Steen, Revival stocks utterly chic and reasonably priced innovative furniture and accessories, mostly in the clean lines of the modern style and the glossy sophistication of the Hollywood Regency style.

Revival is one of those stores that make me want to move right in. Steen has set up the main room of the shop with delightful little vignettes: cherry red metal "Bamboo" chairs here, a vibrant green restored vintage Torchiere lamp there and a photo from local photographer Tara McDermott to tie it all together.

Other standouts are accent pillows from Thomas Paul and well-priced House Eclectic side tables and ornate chairs in six "of the moment" colors. You'll also find gift and household items, such as unique jewelry from local designer Grace Gow, soy candles from Dirt and whimsical floral turquoise pots from Dutch company PTMD Collection.
