The intrepid Seattle Times Travel staff went back on the road together recently, this time to Portland. It was our third group getaway in a Pacific Northwest city (previously we headed to Vancouver, B.C., and Seattle). For Portland, we took a younger reporter with us who can do what the rest of us can't anymore stay awake and check out the nightlife. So here's a look at the city from the four of us, from downtown Portland to the city's trendy Northwest neighborhood, from family-friendly places to singles' bar-hopping.
