Hill's new cut of the movie doesn't add or subtract scenes, but does impose a comic-book-like series of scene transitions that I'm not sure if I like or not. Fortunately, the disk includes a fascinating new "making-of" documentary, and has crystal-clear sound and picture.

Being a fan of TMBG's live shows, I've come to accept and even embrace my label as a puppet sympathizer. The gigs are just that much fun. In addition to that hot puppet-on-puppet action, a TMBG show may include sing-alongs, impromptu conga lines and other things you may steadfastly believe you're too cool to do in public. Oh, but you will do these things, Nov. 7 at the Moore but only if you like the songs.
