Monday: When Frank Zappa departed this plane -- way before his time -- in 1993, a good chunk of our hopes and dreams left with him. Never again would Frank be around to regale us with stories of the Mountain of Mystery, to wage war against Tipper Gore on our behalf, to gently advise us to "watch out where the huskies go" or to simply shut up and play his guitar. Thankfully, Frank's son Dweezil, an excellent guitarist in his own right, continues to run the family business, in the form of the tribute show Zappa Plays Zappa.
