Holiday 2007
They may not be welcome at Sea-Tac Airport this year, but for many Seattle families, the Christmas tree is the highlight of the holiday season. The tree itself is important, of course, but as Charlie Brown and his gang so poignantly demonstrated, it's really the ornaments that hang from it -- and the love with which they're placed on it -- that count.

Convergence Zone
Monday: Most of the bands of the third-wave ska movement were
not particularly important, but the Aquabats are an exception. It's not
that the Huntington Beach, Calif., band has inspired any other bands or
that they make great music, it's just that ... oh, I'll just say it:
They're superheroes. They wear snappy costumes and they battle evil
with the help of their "radioactive rash guards" and "anti-negativity
helmets." They have defeated, live on stage, such nefarious criminals
as Powdered Milk Man and the Floating Eye of Death. Aren't you tired of
Space Monster "M" and the Pigbat getting all up in our stuff? If so,
you would do well to join the Aquabats' growing legion of Aqua-cadets tonight at El Corazon.
