End of the Line
Two thoughts occurred to me as I got off the number 66 bus. As soon as the coach arrived at the end of its downtown-to-Northgate express run -- the Northgate Park & Ride lot, located behind the stack of big-box stores that faces the Northgate Mall -- I thought, "Hey, this bus stops right behind the Target. I'm gonna need to remember that the next time I need cat litter/socks/utilitarian objects designed by Michael Graves."

Pet Dish
Dogs appear to be winning the bumper sticker wars. I see little round "WOOFs" and "Wag more, bark less" ovals on the backs of wagons, PT Cruisers and SUVs all around town. This week I spotted two black dog silhouettes (I think a poodle and a Lab), an "I heart my basset hound," and a "Praise dog." Not a single cat fancy.

Daily Find
I have a cousin who spends considerable time in Kazakhstan, a niece who lives on an organic chocolate farm in Costa Rica and a dear friend who resides steps from the Hague. Keeping track of time zones in order to avoid the poorly timed 2 a.m. phone call is nearly impossible.
