Band of Horses and Carissa's Wierd alumni Mat Brooke has a new band, Grand Archives. Their music is every bit as dreamy as that of Brooke's former bands, with chiming guitars and lush beds of harmony vocals. Every track is as finely crafted as a grandfather clock.

Independently owned spa and boutique Spa Scotta has left University Village, but they haven't gone far. Their new digs can be found at the nearby Northcut Landing, just across the street from the open-air mall. According to owner Jessica Campbell, it was important to keep the spa in the same neighborhood, easing the transition for clientele.
