Pet Dish
I'm always looking for good dog advice -- the kind you hear from smart friends who aren't trained in canine behavior but seem to get what dogs are about. Maybe it's some vestigial wolf gene but I've met accountants, nurses, all sorts of folks with non-dog day-jobs, who can out-whisper The Dog Whisperer.

The rising stars of the Seattle culinary universe are serving up great
meals -- and, thanks to New Urban Eats, NWsource's totally awesome
dining promotion, you can enjoy an appetizer, entree and dessert at one
of those brilliant upstarts for the paltry sum of $30 per person. It's
more expensive to fill the tank of your Subaru.

One day a year is hardly enough to honor our mothers for all they've given us -- but you have to start somewhere. Show Mom what a fine job she did raising you by surprising her with just the right Mother's Day experience, whether she'd prefer a grown-up day out, some time with the whole family or the ever-popular ginormous weekend meal.

What We Crave
Maybe it's the smoky strips of thick-cut bacon or the enormous, juicy
chunks of chicken that escape their sandwich confines like a teenager
skipping out on curfew. Then again, it could be the gooey jack cheese,
heaps of caramelized onions and healthy slather of spicy secret sauce
that all melt together to create their own lusty affair.
