Amy Bengtson is a Seattle jewelry designer best known for her line of glass-blown jewelry that is often spotted at Velouria or hanging around the neck of your fashionista friend. And now, the two artistic Amys have partnered on a line of necklaces sold under the Amy Bengtson brand.

February was filled with fashion shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris. And while Seattle may feel like it couldn’t be any farther away from the front row of the couture runway shows, the fashions seen draped across sashaying size 0 bodies will eventually find their way, in one form or another, to the more reasonably sized bodies of Seattle women.

While the gowns are still white, Seattle weddings are being injected with bright bursts of color as modern brides eschew the classic calligraphy on cream stock in favor of bold colors, vivid florals, unique packaging and more. We shuffled through reams of cream card stock to uncover a few of the hottest trend setters in wedding invitation design, some living right here in Seattle.
