Every year when April rolled around, my mother used to turn our house into a veritable Easter basket. There were painted eggs, stuffed bunnies, and table centerpieces decorated with daffodils and chickadees. While I tend to avoid any kind of cutesy décor in my own home, I do like to embrace the season with a little whimsy. But finding tasteful items can be tough, especially for spring.

Hair, nails, massage – why do bridesmaids get to have all the fun? While most men I know wouldn't be caught dead in a beauty salon as a part of a pre-wedding groomsmen get-together, spending a few hours at the barbershop is an entirely different story – especially if it's a place with leather furniture and a big-screen TV. So when I heard about a local barbershop that offers custom packages for groomsmen, I thought, "What a cool idea."

Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Suri Cruise may not be old enough to tie their own shoes, but their good taste in footwear is already making headlines. While they're years away from sporting Jimmy Choos, the paparazzi are already snapping photos of their little feet snugly fitted in shoes by See Kai Run, a local company that produces footwear for babies and children ages six months and up.
