One of Seattle's most popular dining promotions returns this autumn with a new name and some new blood. Formerly Twenty-Five for $25, Dine Around Seattle has added five new restaurants to its lineup -- 35th Street Bistro, Barolo Ristorante, BOKA Kitchen + Bar, Mixtura and Veil -- and has a new presenting sponsor in From the Heart of Washington, an organization that aims to increase local awareness of Washington agriculture. (Also worth noting: The cost of the promotion's three-course meal has also increased, from $25 to $30. Lunches are holding steady at $15.)
If you've never tried this before, the rules are simple: Thirty of Seattle's fine-dining restaurants offer a $30 prix fixe menu, Sundays through Thursdays during the month of November (with the exception of Thanksgiving). Just tell your server you're there for Dine Around Seattle, and he'll do the rest. (Remember to tip him well.) This is a great chance for you to sample some of the best dishes made by some of the city's best restaurants, for a modest price.
