No, really, it is. It involves multiple-choice questions, teeny little booths and sometimes even baked goods (which will cost you extra — that's democracy, baby). A number of important city issues are riding on today's elections, including the monorail, smoking in public places and — oh yeah, almost forgot — who gets to be mayor of Seattle.

If you're registered, vote today. If you're not registered, by gum, you should get registered for the next election, because odds are good we'll be voting on strip-club regulations. Fun!
