Red Fin: Restaurant/bar is new on the scene

I spent a birthday weekend at the Hotel Max and the Red Fin was our first, and last, stop both nights, as well as for Sunday brunch. Great service both nights in the bar, a little slow for Sunday brunch, but overall the food was decent, the rolls were little overpriced by a buck or two, but I enjoyed the fare nonetheless. The drinks were delicious and they made me some specialties that I found tasty and interesting! I recommend this hot new joint for a small group gathering, meet and greet, laid back dinner date, prefunking, and lunch. It is a sleek looking place with modern edges and a friendly staff. Hip, classy, cool. My ONLY gripe is that the music was horrible and bland... recommend that someone chage that to a more ambient type or modern style that goes with the decor and style. Stay in the super cool Hotel Max and enjoy the full effect!

Hip decor and very cool happy hour and late night with some great drink/food specials. Bar is a little small but cozy. Been there a few times now and had a nice balance between dinner and sushi menus - neither seems like an afterthought to the other. Coworker told me they actually have a good breakfast but haven't been there for that yet. Favorite thing is that they're open late everyday for the chow and booze specials. Gotta agree with the music comment from above but a manager there told me they were taking care of that.
