If your child entertains fantasies of running off with the circus, you might want to sign her up for this summer's first-ever Camp ZinZanni, put on by the ZinZanni Institute for Circus Art. (Yes, that's their real name. This is serious stuff.)
Two six-day sessions will teach 11- to 15-year-olds how to juggle and create characters like the ones that Teatro ZinZanni is famous for. Instructors are, of course, members of the troupe's cast and staff, who will share their love for the art of circus performance.
Each session will wrap up with a live show for family and friends in Teatro ZinZanni's antique red velvet spiegeltent. The sessions will be held in July and August, and the tuition for each is $350. For more information or to sign up, check out the ZinZanni Web site.

Post a commentHi there,
I'm the publicist for Teatro ZinZanni and I've been trying to find your email address to correct the age range for our camp - we are offering the camp for kids ages 11 to 15 and not 8 to 13.
You can reach me at (206)250-2807. I will keep trying to find your email address and send you the original press release.
Thanks very much!
