Remember when you read every book you could find on newborn sleep habits, but it was your neighbor's secret trick that finally got the babe to go down? So it is with tips on city living with kids. Your neighbors -- even the ones you don't know -- can offer a wealth of good advice. So make yourself at home and use this forum to share your favorite local family activities, parks, restaurants and shops, or to post a question if you're looking for the best in a neighborhood that is new to you.

Finally, no one knows the meaning of the word "opinionated" better than a parent. We find ourselves in debates about our choices from the moment we find out we're having a baby. But most of the time, we find ways to work around our differences of opinion, and we'd like to do that here, too. We're bound to enter into a debate now and then, but please keep it kind and respectful.
