Forums

Welcome to the Restaurants forum

Hey, thanks for stopping by the NWsource forum, where the folks are friendly, the conversation is lively and the drinks are cheap. Oops, sorry, wrong place.

Nonetheless, just like a good local watering hole, this forum is a good spot to meet other Seattleites, share ideas and opinions, recommend or defend your favorites and generally hold forth about whatever's on your mind.

There's no bouncer around here, and we don't require shoes or shirt to enter, but there are a couple of rules: One, don't be mean. Two, don't post ads. We've got classifieds for that. If you have any questions about what's OK and what isn't, check out our Terms of Service.

We'll drop in occasionally to see how you're doing, and if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We'll do whatever we can to help. Cheers!

Anyone know any decent restaurants that will not be packed on Mother's Day? I'm taking out my Grandmother and Mom after a play tomorrow in the University District, but am open to places in any area. I was thinking the 13 Coins.

Help!

I don't know how busy they'll be, but Mamma Melina's on 50th and Roosevelt offers amazing Italian food. The dishes are a cross between comfort food and gourmet cooking. It tastes great, but is above standard fare. It's always hot, the portions will actually satisfy you, the atmosphere is comfortable, the service is friendly, and it isn't outrageously expensive. I hope you find a place you like!

Should have gone to the Blue Onion Bistro on Roosevelt n 58th. They have breakfast now and do the most incredible cinnamon rolls. I've heard their spot on KISW...they must be doing something right. Hasnt the new ownership owned that little place longer then the old? Pretty sure they have! Go you guys!

There are some good Indian restaurants on the east side not many people know of such as Spice Route which i beleive is the best Indian cuisine.

check out: http://www.nwdesis.com/restaurants/restaurants_ind...

for other indian restaurants in the seattle area.

Anyone try this place?
