Local boutiques slash prices for spring “Upside-Down” sale

Spring is here, and that means out with the old and in with the new. This extends to your closet, too. Maybe you need a few new accessories, a couple of tops, some more shoes (who doesn’t need more?), and a sassy spring dress? If so, check out the "Eastside Upside-Down Sale." "Upside-down what?" you say. It’s a simple concept say the event’s organizers: Think savings "up" and prices "down."

Beginning on Saturday, March 31 and extending to Sunday, April 1, five local boutiques -- Manhattan [0], Promesse [0], Canopy Blue [0], Carmilia’s [0], and Posh on Main [0] -- are cleaning out their stock rooms and slashing prices during this springtime sale.

Head to Kirkland’s Eagle’s Club (258 Central Way, Kirkland, Wash.) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and choose from clothes by designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Juicy Couture, Nanette Lepore, Theory, True Religion, 7 for all Mankind, and more. You can also score sale-priced shoes from Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and other designers.
