Last year in Seattle, SpaWeek [1] appointments were snatched up faster than free Mighty-O [1] doughnuts in a Microsoft break room. This year, however, the generously discounted services -- each just $50 at eight participating spas and salons -- are still available days before the promotion's kick-off. SpaWeek takes place Sept. 17-23.
Among the Seattle spas and salons participating are Bowie Salon and Spa [1] in Capitol Hill and Derby Salon [1] in Roosevelt. Both will offer a choice of three 60-minute treatments. At Bowie, choose from a purifying facial; a full-body massage or Brazilian wax; or a passion fruit-scented body treatment. At Derby, enjoy an aromatherapy massage, a facial or a green tea pedicure.
Other participants include Cassie's Place Skin Care [1] in Ballard, London House [1] in South Seattle and Maharishi Vedic Health Spa [1] in West Seattle. On the Eastside, SpaWeek services are offered at Kirkland's posh Spa at the Woodmark [2], Herban Therapies [2] in Bellevue and Oriental Retreat & Spa [2] in Kirkland.
