New line of paper goods is a Joy

Nantaka Joy journals and thank-you cards infuse familiar tasks with a bit of trendy pizzazz

Among those who frequent design blogs, Joy Deangdeelert Cho's new line of paper goods was eagerly anticipated. A textile designer by trade and blogger by hobby, Cho is the brain behind Oh Joy! [1], where she shines the spotlight on stylish products that cut across the design spectrum to include fashion, jewelry, home decor and bridal.

Her paper goods line, Nantaka Joy [2], combines her keen eye for emerging trends with this season's hottest materials, such as metallics and Kraft paper. Scalloped-edge journals ($14) in nubby fabric are offered alongside elegant gold foil thank-you cards ($6 each), all glossed over with a metallic sheen. The entire line is available at Lucca Great Finds [2] in Ballard.

While Cho's name isn't household yet, it's possible that her textile designs are already in your home: She was part of the team that developed the Swell/Cynthia Rowley collection for Target [2], and she's done pattern work for Freddy&Ma [3] handbags.
