Does Sway & Cake give you sticker shock? Its spin-off store offers similar styles at greatly discounted prices

If you love Sway & Cake [0] but not the prices, check out the downtown boutique's new TBC [0] (aka To Be Continued) location, the recipient of the trendy shop's overstock, sale items and past-season fashions.

Owner and trend stalker Tamara Donaghy recently moved TBC from Second Avenue and Pine Street to Sixth Avenue and Olive Way, just around the corner from Sway & Cake. It's a good move for shoppers -- discounted merchandise now has a shorter journey from one store to the other.

Upon entering, you'd never know this was a discount shop. The new space is larger and looks like S&C's cute little sister, with sassy wall art and mod lighting. The giveaway: the price tags. Clothing and accessories are up to 70 percent off here.

On a recent visit, I spied a whole load of current-season Milly [1] dresses in graphic prints for just under $200 (originally $355). A pair of candy-colored Bettye Muller [2] heels was $48, marked down from $309, and a yellow-and-silver ruffled dress from Sass & Bide [3] was a mere $95 (originally $600).

Premium denim from Tag [4], Stitch's [5] and True Religion [6] is a steal at $60 to $120, originally priced at up to $270. There's also an array of bargain-priced jewelry, sunglasses, handbags and shoes. And don't miss the rack in the back for dirt-cheap past-season clothing.
