This month, Luly Yang [0], Seattle's queen of celebratory couture, will offer partygoers and brides-to-be two weekends' worth of opportunities to purchase her designs and other fashions at a discount. Both weekends, dresses from her eponymous collection will be discounted 30 to 50 percent from original prices ($3,000-$5,000).

On Jan. 5 and 6 [0], Luly Yang gowns in sample sizes (mostly 2 through 8, with a few size 10s thrown in for good measure) will be sold at the Luly Yang Couture booth (#1620) at the Seattle Wedding Show [0], which takes place at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center [0].

The following weekend, Jan. 12 and 13 [0], score savings on Luly Yang and other sample bridal gowns at the designer's downtown boutique [0]. Appointments are encouraged for the sale and may be made by calling the Luly Yang Bridal Salon at 206-623-8200.

If those events aren't motivation enough to check out what Luly Yang has to offer, consider the designer's end-of-season sale [0]. Jan. 7 through Feb. 2, enjoy up to 50 percent off evening gowns, resort wear, stilettos, cocktail dresses from Nicole Miller [1] and Dina Bar-el [2], men's jackets from Ibiza and Torres and ties from Italo Ferretti [3].
