What if planning your wedding didn't have to be stressful? What if you didn't have to spend hours on the Internet trying to find your dream florist or photographer? Well, if you're a bride- or groom-to-be in Seattle, and you're free the evening of Feb. 21, you don't have to. The organizers of Urban Unveiled [1] will gather 55 high-end wedding vendorsĀ and showcase their talents under one roof at swanky Benaroya Hall [1].

The brainchild of popular local photographers Sharlane Chase [2] and Clare Marie [3], and wedding planners Travis McBurney and Jesse Brix from True Colors Events [4], Urban Unveiled is part trade show, part cocktail party and partly just a good reason to get gussied up. An alternative to mainstream wedding shows, Urban Unveiled highlights up-and-coming vendors and the industry's best, while proving that planning your wedding can be as fun as the wedding itself.

Mingle with wedding vendors, enjoy cuisine from Wolfgang Puck, chat with local caterers, groove to the beats of local DJs and ogle the work of innovative florists, jewelers and photographers. The highlight of the event will be a fabulous fashion show by local couture designer Luly Yang [4]. After the show, indulge in a dessert reception featuring cakes from local bakers.

Purchase tickets at the Urban Unveiled Web site [5]. General admission is $25; V.I.P. tickets are $50 and include free parking, a gift bag and front-section seating for the show.
