Drink in the tropics with Sun Liquor's sexy Punetazo

A seasonal menu is a delight. We love revisiting all our old haunts only to find new discoveries. It keeps things fresh and lively. That is, of course, until our favorite dish or cocktail disappears from the menu -- which is exactly what happened on our last trip to Capitol Hill's swanky Sun Liquor [0], when we searched in vain for our beloved Punetazo ($8). Its fruity medley of orange and pineapple juices with just a touch of coconut cream is a beach vacation in a long, tall glass, while its blend of three rums, including a good kick of aged 151, quickly puts your mind on island time. Luckily, our friendly barkeep put our concerns at ease, telling us that he's more than happy to squeeze whatever fresh citrus fruit he has on hand to mix us a cold one any time of year. All we have to do is ask.

What do you crave? Which local lounge makes the fruity cocktail that drives you to distraction? Post a comment below and tell us about it.
