April events: a mega rummage sale and toy testing

The time has come again for the annual North Seattle Families of Multiples sale! If you are interested in picking up some great deals on gently used childrens' items, check out this giant rummage sale -- more than 50 families, with over 100 kids, will be emptying their closets. Check it out this Saturday, April 5, from 8:30 a.m. until noon, at the International Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 12345 8th Ave. N.E.

Now is also the time to plan ahead for the Nico and Zoe [1] Toy Test, which will be held this year at C&P Coffee [2] in West Seattle. Nico and Zoe is a local, mostly online toy retailer. They specialize in wooden and artisan-made toys, mostly geared toward kids from birth to age five. The test will run from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 23. This is a great chance to see their great toys in person and figure out what makes your kids tick. Most of the toys at this showing will be geared toward the under-3 set, but if you have any special requests of toys you'd like to "meet," you are invited to email them a special request.
